Promotions present the 9th Annual St. Patrick’s
Classic at Virginia Motorsports Park.
This three-day, 1/8-mile event for electronics and footbrake
bracket racers is coming up Friday-Sunday, March
16-18, 2018.
Friday’s
and Sunday’s payouts for Top ET and Footbrake classes
are $5,000 Win, $1,500 Runner-Up, $600 Semis
and $100 Round starting with 3rd Round win. Entry per
day is $100, buybacks are $60.
Saturday’s
payouts for Top ET and Footbrake classes are $10,000 Win,
$3,000 Runner-Up, $1,000 Semis and $100 Round
starting with 3rd Round win. Entry is $150, buybacks are
$80. A three-day entry is $290.
Payouts
based on 120 minimum. Double-entries are permitted, but
no car can run more than 2X per round regardless of class.
In other words, you can buy two entries in a single class
or a single entry in both classes, but you can just forget
about double-entering AND double-classing, buck-o! Top
ET will use CrossTalk. No throttle stops allowed. Footbrake
will honor deep staging. No transbrakes in Footbrake.
Door cars and left-hand steer roadsters only in Footbrake.
Gates
open Thursday at 1:00 pm for parking and a $30 test &
tune. Thursday night there’ll be the Legendary 64
Shootout that pays $10,000 Win, $2,000 Runner-Up, $750
Semis and $300 Quarters. No doubles, no buybacks, entry
fee $300. Gates stay open until Friday night. Friday’s
time trial is 8:30 am. Gates open Saturday at 8:00 am
with a time trial at 8:30. Gates open Sunday at 9:00 am
with a new-entry time trial at 10:15 am.
