The
IHRA - International Hot Rod Association has added a new
class to its Summit SuperSeries for the 2019 season. Sportsman
class will join existing classes Top, Mod and Junior; Sportsman
will be open to door cars only 12.00 & slower in the
¼-mile and 7.50 & slower in the 1/8-mile. The
use of trans brakes, two steps, and delay boxes are prohibited
in the Sportsman class. Visit IHRA.com
for more info. |
What
caught my eye about the Inline Tube booth was the 27,000
SKUs the company offers. Being that many of our race cars
are older, production-based vehicles, having a source for
pre-formed brake lines might come in handy some day. Visit

of Pro Mod and Top Alcohol cars. The Mark Williams 11"
Modular is not based on existing housings but rather is
designed from a clean sheet. These monsters are available

The
elves in the Moroso Performance Products workshop were busy
this year getting new products ready for the PRI Show. In
the upper left is this -12AN male to -16AN male with external
screen (#23963) designed for oil pan and tank outlets; the
screen will trap metal chips or other debris. In the upper
right is a non-weld valve cover breather kit (#68854) which
provides and easy way to add a breather to a steel or aluminum
valve cover. In the bottom left is a 7 qt. oil pan for 2016
and newer COPO Camaro (#21154) and in the bottom right is
a 7 qt. big-block Chevy oil pan with double kick-outs (#20486).
