Look
at the show now; it didn't look like this on set-up day!
Some of the exhibitors told me they thought this was the
busiest PRI Show yet.

In
past shows the trailers were outside on the street, but
this year was a really nice indoor display of all of the
trailer manufacturers. They had plenty of room to spread
out, and it was nice to be in the warmth!

AHRA
- American Hot Rod Association |

The
American Hot Rod Association is back and the man on the
far right is the person behind it. That's Dallas Brown,
a hard-core racer himself and the owner of the AHRA. So
far he has three mamber tracks and is looking to expand
to more. Dallas has some interesting ideas for bracket racing,
including Performance Based Payouts. This awards bonus money
to an AHRA member racer who wins in an electronics, delay-box
class using a no-box/no-stop automatic car, and even more
money if the racer wins with a no-box/no-stop manual shift.
More work to get the win means more payout. Pretty cool!
