Arnie
Martel Jr. is up and away against the '67 Camaro of Guy
DesJardins, buy Guy runs him down for the win.

This
is the last pair of cars to go down the track today due
to a big oil-down in the right lane. |
As
you can see Super Stock is in the lanes waiting for the
clean up, but thanks to the mini-Dopplers on the Track
Info page, I was using my Smartphone to keep
an eye on an approaching storm. |
|
|
|
I
made my way through the lanes and took a couple of shots,
but it was time to bail. Shortly after this photo, the rains
came and shut down racing for the day. |
WELCOME
TO SUNDAY, and lots of blue sky! It's 10:15 am,
Stock Eliminator is in the lanes, and it's a perfect day
for racing. |

Bobby
Conway knows how to get more coverage: wear the shirt! |
Here
Bobby tries to convince me that it wasn't the case, but
I know better. |

Super
Gas is also in the lanes, on deck. This is Earl Nichols
going topless, Oh, BEHAVE! |
Stock
Eliminator, Round 2: In the far lane it's the B/SA Camaro
of Fred Thibeault from Middleton, Nova Scotia against the
F/SA Camaro of Bill Quinn from Winfield, NJ. Fred gets to
avoid the long trip home a little longer; Quinn will be
home in time for lunch. |

Another

Dave
Ficacci of Whippany, NJ. I was just in Whippany. Like that
matters to anyone. |
|
|
That's
Ficacci giving chase to John Bender. Ficacci will be back
for Round 3. |
Uh
Oh, now you did it. You broke the 'Tree. Guess we'll just
pack it up and head home. |
