When
the test & tune crowd was on the track, I wandered the
Sportsman pits. That's the LiveWire Camaro of George
Smith, and the Chevy II Super Gas wagon of Bob
Keister, complete with a luggage rack on the roof! |

This
car is just nasty. It's the 1957 S/G Bel Air of Shawn
Harp. It's flawless, and just look at those ghost
flames in the paint.

As
I was going through the pits I witnessed this mini-thrash
going on in the pit of S/G racer Tom Goldman.
When I took these shots Super Gas was not only in the
lanes but rolling.

Another
little thrash in progress... |

I
couldn't walk past this Jr. and not include him in the coverage,
so here you go! |

Tom
Doughty
and his Frustration Plymouth are a fixture at many nostalgia
events, and he runs regularly with the East Coast
Nostalgia Super Stock Association. Tom's smiling
now, but that'll be changing in a little while... |
