Dragtime News On Location: Mopars @ Etown 2012

In the slowest chase since the Austin Powers steamroller scene, this is what ensued when the second Zamboni realized the first was Chevy-powered and tried to shoo it off the track.
Concession was pretty busy throughout the day.
This is Long Island's Al Levine and his blown Savoy. I've raced with Al for a long time, and have gotten to know him as one of the most loyal and dedicated champions of getting safe, organized drag racing back on Long Island. We'll see more of Al and his Savoy later.
This is one sharp car, a two-tone / two-ton 1966 Charger.

It's owned by Vic Palumbo of Bridgewater, NJ. It's powered by a stroker 494" backed by a 727, and an 8 3/4" rear with 3.91s.

You don't see THIS every day.
