Riegel is away first with an .046 light and 7.33 dial. Abruzzi follows with an .014 light and 6.83 dial. Riegel goes .03 under; Abruzzi goes dead-on with an 0.
Sal Biondo waiting on deck for the Comp final.
In this all-D/EA pairing, Calvin Hill had a great .007 light against Biondo, but Biondo has the 8.81 index covered better and powers past Hill for the win, 8.326 to 8.507.

11.50 Index, Final: this could be any Saturday night at Atco Raceway, as Atco regulars Dave Harvey Jr. and Bob Sanders meet up.
Harvey had the 'Tree .010 to .016 and wins the double-breakout.
Now the Sportsman winners get to do The Walk Of Fame in front of the stands, prior to the Pro finals. This is a new thing NHRA tried, and I think it's a great way to bring more exposure to these racers.

All of the winners were interviewed by Alan Reinhart and the ESPN camera crew.

Sisko's interview was the best. He had just gotten done telling Reinhart that he's a bracket racer at heart and dedicated his win to all the bracket racers out there. Reinhart tries to draw him in by saying, "But now you're a Super Comp racer, right?" Without missing a beat Sisko fires back "For today I am." CLASSIC!
Well racers, that puts a wrap on our FORTY PAGES OF PHOTO COVERAGE of The Toyota NHRA Summernationals. We hope you enjoyed and appreciated the volume of coverage we dedicated to the Sportsman racers. Thanks for hanging around for awhile!
